Most useful Mac keyboard shortcut not working

Hey Guys! I am driving mad and will much appreciate your help

On US keyboards you hit cmd+? or cmd+shift+/ (i think) to go to help search on any application... what about SPANISH keyboards??

I used to use this a lot! And now, that I have a mac with a spanish keyboard it doesn't function the same way. Instead it opens e a search window, for example, in safari it opens "safari user guide". This doesn't let me search right away for any menu items or go through the menu items with the keyboard..

Can anyone help me, please? This has been frustrating

The setting for me is at System Preferences>Keyboard>Shortcuts>App Shortcuts under "All Applications" and is called "Show Help menu".

Actually, that is exactly how I had it configured. Somehow it wasn't working. Fixed it by deleting the shortcut and creating it again. Now it is working as it should.
