I am experiencing big slowdowns with Motion and FCP after Big Sur update yesterday. Here is what happened. Yesterday I updated the apps and Big Sur the regular way. FCP X and Motion were one of the few apps from Apple that got updated though App Store. Pro video codecs where updated also from system update. While all the other apps runs fine FCP X and Motion experience the following issues:

Motion: starting Motion takes exactly 5 min on my MacBook Pro 2015. It used to take about 10 sec. Motion will keep one of the cores to 100% for 5 min. Insane. After it finally opens Motion works fine.

FCP X: This software will open with prompts to update all my libraries which it does fast. Then the drama starts. Any open project will take 7 min to load any elements in it! After waiting that time everything works fine, switching to another project does not take time anymore and all works fine. Before the update this app was flying and opening those projects in less than 5 sec.

I have no idea what Apple did but it has to do with their ****** M1 and universal binaries or whatever they call it.

Anybody has this experience too?
