Motiv Ring

Does anyone have the Motive Ring? If so, does it work well and most importantly does it send data to the iOS Health app? I am a devoted Apple Watch wearer (I have two so one is always charged), but this is interesting.

I have been watching information about this ring since it was first introduced.

In my last correspondence with the developers, they stated it did not report to HealthKit. In the app reviews, there seems to be some improvement but looks like a bit more tweaks are needed.

Hopefully, someone will take the plunge!

That is a huge bummer. I am hoping to get one after the first of the year. Would like it to update my health data.

Too bad there isn’t more info on this. I think Apple should make various wearables or open HealthKit for more brands (and allow them to write to the activity rings). I am a high school basketball ref and we don’t wear watches. I have the Withings device I put in my pocket and it writes to HealthKit, but not the Activity app. More options would mean more sale$$$
