Hey guys just really want your opinion whether I should wait until the Moto 360 comes out or just get the Gear 2? Or just even get both!

Thanks.

360 without a shadow of a doubt. Google now on your wrist will be the killer app that brings wearable a mainstream.

360 without a doubt. Can't explain why but circular displays like that are awesome.

I would go with the 360, only because you know that if you decided to get a non-Samsung device it will still work. No guarantee of that with the Gear 2.

360 without hesitation. Samsung shot themselves in the foot badly. They have a design which will only appeal to a few. They eschewed Android in favor of Tizen. They are only letting their devices work with a select group of Samsung phones. I'm not really sure why Samsung is making such terrible short sighted decisions, especially with their advantage of hindsight in seeing how the gear 1 failed. It's almost as if they are sabotaging themselves.

360 on the other hand has all pluses. It's design is beautiful and should appeal to many many more consumers. They are using Android. It will work with any 4.2 and up Android device. Also you can't forget about how innovative motorola has been in terms of UI and input, look at the MotoX. I have no doubt they will bring that innovation to the 360, making it a very powerful platform.

I've got a gear and was going to get a gear 2 but I'm definitely going to wait and see what the 360 has to offer when it comes out - from what I've read and seen of it so far, it's definitely a better device than the Gear 2

I have the gear one and love what it does for my needs. Certainly wouldn't upgrade to the 2 as it's not needed.. Just need it for notifications and that's it

Moto 360 will be MUCH more versatile than the Gear 2. Moto 360 is likely to win MANY head-to-head comparisons in style and functionality. Running Google's Android Wear OS is going to make that difference. As others said, Samsung has hamstrung themselves by locking their wrist devices to Samsung phones.

Well I'd prefer the gear as I have a note 3 and would prefer integration with S-health. However at £299 it's a little steep for something I'm not entirely convinced about. I'll probably buy one of the android wear ones and see if I can embrace the smart watch concept. If I get on board I'd then be happier to she'll out for the gear 2.
