My son busted his phone so I let him have my Pixel XL and I picked up a used Moto G6 off of craigslist for 100 and what a nice phone for the money. I think retail on it is 249 or so and I wouldnt pay that because I could get a used Pixel for cheaper but I really like this, the phone is very sleek and the screen looks similar aspect of a Galaxy. It is tall and narrow and for a budget phone this screen looks great, I really cant tell a difference between it and my XL. I do notice a difference in the camera but that is to be expected but for a budget phone it is more than good enough.

The fingerprint scanner is on the front and I dont like that but it works really well. Moto's slightly skinned android is very clean and is probably as close as you can get to stock that I have seen, probably similar to a Oneplus. Does anyone here use this?

I've used Motorola since the original X and G, and recently the E3 power and G5S plus.
Under Lenovo, the biggest weakness from Motorola now is the slower update cycle, sometimes quarterly at best, and forget about OS version updates for anything below the G lineup (and probably just a one time major OS version update for the G series, maybe 2 for the Z series). The only exception is the Moto X4 since that is an Android One phone.

Motorola was exciting, but now they're just run of the mill. They offer better value than the likes of Samsung, but not competitive enough when we start to compare them to the likes of Xiaomi. I'd rather put my money on Nokia than Motorola these days, or simply opt for a Xiaomi.
