Motorola SB6120 red light?

When my mac is hooked up to the modem directly I get a blue solid link light.

When I hooked up my modem to my linksys router I get a red blinking light.

What does that mean?

Blinking Red Link LED

anyone?

I believe the LED is Blue when the modem is connected (via CAT-5e or CAT-6 ethernet cable) to a PC/laptop that is 1000 Base-T capable. It will be Red when connected to a 10/100 speed port. If you check the specs of your router, does it say it's capable of 1000 Mbps speed?
