Does anyone know if I can get my Motorola V710 phone working with my G4 Powerbook Blue Tooth features. I want to go on line while on vacation!
Also, are any drivers available to make iSync work with the phone.
Thanks for your help.

I recently purchased the v710 the other day, I believe from other things I read that it will work as a bluetooth modem for the powerbook, I was able to get my powerbook to see the phone, just didnt feel like configuring it for the modem. Also the phone will not work with iSync, it is rumored to work with the next update of iSync 1.5 which is supposed to be released shortly.

For more info on the modem check out, the verizon section of the following discussion forum site, http://www.howardforums.com.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the info. I have been waiting for over a year for Verizon to come out with a bluetooth phone so I can use iSync with my powerbook. I was going to go out and buy it today but I think I'll wait till the update of iSync comes out to make sure it will work with my powerbook.

t-Mobile

I was going to go with Verizon for my cell phone carrier, however they didn't have any cell phones that work with Apple. I went with t-mobile and the have been wonderful. Sorry if this was a bit off topic.
