This project comes hot off the heels of the Leopard Beta on G3 project and aims to offer a more complete experience by backporting features of 9A241 (Time Machine, Spaces), 9a466's CoreVideo.framework, Leopard's icon and window resources (or just use UNO to get rid of brushed metal) in addition to Leopard's Finder controls.

Screenshots and a pre-setup image will be available in due time.

Looking forward to it. Time machine is the only reason I use leopard on my PowerPC Macs.

This aims first and foremost to offer a stable alternative to the Leopard beta on G3 project while supporting said systems without a hitch. I tried my best to update 9a241 but hit a brick wall there. Thus this is why I’m going this route.

would it be possible to get leopard application support with the UI/finder/etc of tiger? i'm quite font of the tiger UI over leopard's.

Leopard application support would require a new kernel, custom frameworks… etc. I will intend to do the best I can do to port the UI of Leopard to Tiger.

Looks like Time Machine won’t launch, however I was able to install the preferences panel and managed to copy the app over. There might be something else required but I don’t know.

B S Magnet check out what I’m starting!

Given how this is running the 8S165/8S2167 kernel, this is by and large putting a Leopard “skin” on a build of 10.4.11 (with a few features backported from OS X 10.5 to assist with the Leopard “skin” experience), correct?

If so, then would this be more in keeping with related Liger UX/UI projects of yore? Put another way, perhaps referring to the effort as simply “Liger” might make it clear what its main objective is striving to do?

Yeah, but I wanted to differentiate myself from the ShapeShifter skin, which I will most likely take the resource forks from. I will also include AquaTrimcellerator to help speed up the OS.

Well just out of nowhere, iTunes 9.1.1's Radio just started working again for some reason:eek:
