Kay, what are the impressions from using mountain Lion? does everyone like it? Speed wise have things improved? I like the idea of having the message center, but i hate the idea of having icloud forced upon me if i dont want to and I LOATHE the integration with time wasting apps like FB and twitter.. WTF??

Useless **** to clutter a professional OS.

anyone like it? i am extremely interested in the performance wise of things..

how are geek benches on the same hardware with either Snowy/Lion ---> mountain Lion?

iCloud, fb, twitter etc are not forced upon you in any way. If you switch off all of the iCloud features like documents, then you won't even know it's there at all.

ML in general is pretty good. It definitely feels faster than Lion, but I haven't run any benchmarks to quantify that difference.

i have been using it for the past 4 days and love it, a few small hanging bugs here and there but feels more stable and faster than lion did, especially on release.
FB is not live yet in its integration but as the previous post said you are in control of what you want on and off.
Notification centre is fantastic for me and my productivity, mail has some great new features (made me move back over from Sparrow) and the small things like the status of a file transfer is a winner (I move a lot of files between my macbook pro, imac and mac air)
All in all a great upgrade, it won't WOW you but it feels that this should have been the upgrade in full after SL.
