Mountain Lion Internet SHaring Not Working?

Recently i updated my mac to ios 10.8.2 and from lion and now my internet sharing is not working.

I've tried all the settings, restarted, updated... but my ipad is not connecting. On the ipad it shows im connected in the preferences but not on the menu bar, originally i though it was my ipad's fault but same happened to my printer, its connected to my computer's shared network but cannot go online. Any Suggestions?
