Never mind the title. why does chrome only use discrete GPU? I have the gfxCardStatus installed and it gives you the option to switch to integrated or discrete. If I choose the integrated while running chrome or photoshop, does it work the same?

Photoshop is a professional photo editor, it has advanced features that require discrete graphics.

Chrome on the other hand is not ML optimized and should never use discrete graphics.

Download the newest Chrome version. It allegedly fixed the issue.
