I'm using VMWare Horizon, not VMWare Fusion, to run some Windows apps from my university. Only accessible via VMWare.

With Parallels we can go both ways, i.e. we can mount the VM so it shows up as a network disk on macOS. It seems with VMWare Horizon I cannot.

Anyone have any experience with VMWare Horizon?

Do you mean folder redirection?
I don't think so. I can already copy files over from Mac to the VM. The VM sees the Mac drives fine.
I want to mount the VM disk as a volume in macOS so I can browse the files in the VM. I've done that before with Parallels.
