I am a new owner of a 2018 Mac Mini (i5, 32 GB, 256) and primarily use my Mac for AutoCAD work. I am currently using an ASUS VP247QG monitor, but I would like a monitor with more resolution and one that has the capability to change height vertically, swivel, and pivot. Ultimately, I would like to mount my Mac Mini to the rear of a monitor with the monitor's stand in place using a HIDEit mount (to establish an iMac look, do not want to be able to see Mac Mini when facing the monitor), but the monitor options seem limited. In most cases, in order to utilize the monitor's VESA mounting holes for the HIDEit mount, the stand needs to come off (Dell, HP). I really like some of the Dell monitors, but I do not see any mount that can attach to the monitor's stand.
Your comments/suggestions are most appreciated.
