Want to mount your ATV on the wall? You could fork out $50 for THIS Piece of plastic, or you could do what I did and affix three strips of velco to the back of teh ATV and the other part of the wall (or back of TV). Cost: 50 Cent!

(Works great by the way).

Well done! As long as it is on there nice and tight without a chance of falling down, you have a great set up.

I just used the 3M strips with sticky stuff on both sides. Velcro is a good idea too.

I can't believe what people sell pieces of plastic for.

I saw this on Amazon for the Roku2. It seems to be a car phone holder.

Why I prefer this over velcro is because TV's omit heat and direct contact could affect the AppleTV. This at least gives a buffer. But still, theres the problem of how the IR remote will see it so I just put my AppleTV/Roku in front. They're so tiny anyway that I barely notice them.

How does that work? If my remote doesn't have a direct line to the front of my ATV, it won't work. I wish I could hide mine like that.

I afixed mine to a place on my LCD TV that was relatively cool to the touch, so I don't think that's going to be an issue - hasn't been so far.
