I've installed windows 7 in bootcamp. How do you get windows to recognize the trackpad and magic mouse?

While in windows, Install the boot camp drivers from the system restore disk. There should be a boot camp folder inside.

Also do windows update. Finally check Bluetooth settings.

I think I did all of those things but I'll give it another try. So other people are able to use the trackpad and mouse in windows?

yeap im able to use the magic mouse in windows 7 on imac 21.5 inch.

after installing windows 7, take out the disc and insert the snow leopard installation disc. this will install all the necessary drivers.

I have the late 2009 model of 27" iMac, my Magic Mouse works fine under Windows 7.

It didn't support scrolling out of the box though, I had to install bootcamp software from the application disc that comes with my iMac to get it working.

Did you guys need a wired keyboard and/or mouse to install windows?

Wish the wireless accessories had the option of plugging in...

I've tried all of things listed above and still can't get the trackpad and mouse to work. Anymore suggestions?

Try getting only one pointing device to work at a time. Turn the Magic Pad off and see if the mouse will work? My Magic Mouse was working WAY BEFORE the Windows 7 install was completed. It worked during the install process and I was able to navigate with it to complete the installation. Your experience does not seem to be the norm.
