After getting my wireless mouse (Logitech M720 Connection by usb not bluetooth) connected and working, I have noticed after turning it off for a while then back on, that the cursor floats all over the screen when I move the mouse just a little bit. The only way to remedy this issue is to turn off AssistiveTouch and then back on again. This glitch repeat itself each and every time I turn off the computer for a good while and then back on again, but not if I turn it off for a few moments then back on, it will be fine. I have my Mouse connected by usb to a Satechi multi port Adapter. Bluetooth connection does not work or I cannot get it to work with this mouse.

Darndest thing and I wonder if anybody else is having the same observation?

Edit: Ok, Bluetooth now working, but I can’t assign the buttons to anything but Menus and scrolling Where before when I had it hooked up to the iPad by USB I was able to get all functions to my mouse. Go figure

Have tried using another mouse to see if it'll work?

See if the issue persists with Bluetooth. What extra functions were you able to assign to which buttons via USB?

Using Bluetooth the issues do not re-surface which is a blessing but I would like to assign some of my buttons. I’ll figure it out, thanks everybody

Wala. Got it to work and assigned the buttons that I needed. Thank you everybody for your help. Re-did all the steps and this time they function properly to get the assign buttons to work. Unknown what happened the first time. I now have a second mouse in route as a back up just in case, because the pairing of this one took a very long time for some reason.

Good for you that it worked out. I take it that the mouse button options are actually the same regardless of connection method then.

Yes, But now that I look at it, I think it was my hub that was at fault since everything else is working fine using Bluetooth instead of the USB adapter inserted in the satechi adapter. Just a guess

Did you have anything else plugged into the hub? I've run into problems in the past with mouse adapters and USB3 drives plugged into the same hub.

My little USB-C dock on my MBP certainly has issues with the Logitech mouse receiver - which works fine anywhere else of course.
