Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help me? I use a Logitech MX mouse and my trackpad if I’m out and about. All of a sudden the direction keeps changing when scrolling on either the mouse or trackpad.

I usually have it so if I scroll up on the trackpad i.e. use two fingers upwards the document goes down and on the mouse if I scroll down the document goes down.

Does anyone know why it would suddenly keep changing? I keep changing it back but it’s annoying me now. Ha!

Thanks,
B.

Thanks. I've never needed to have Logi Options open at login before. I've enabled that now. Seems the trackpad setting and mouse settings are mirrored rather than being separated. Does anyone know how to get the trackpad setting and the mouse setting so work separately. For example, on the trackpad setting have the scroll direction as neutral and on the mouse have it unticked without it ticking both of them or unticking both of them?

Thanks,
B.

For mine, the mouse scroll is regular, trackpad is natural. Here's my settings:
  • Logi Options: Point & scroll > set Thumb wheel direction to inverted
  • System preferences: Trackpad scroll set to natural
  • System preferences: Mouse also set to natural (Logi Options seems to override this, as I found the mouse scrolls the other way if its not running)
