I am now using Parallel desktop 3.0 upgraded from the old version.
Either in old and new version of Parallel desktop I have the same porblem with mouse movement.
The mouse moves really slow when I tried to point it in an object but when it nearly reach the point i intended to click it suddenly moved away quite fast.
This causes much unconvinience for me since I have to work with CAD programs like autocad or 3Ds Max.

Any idea or suggestion? Thanks in advance.

@macRuser: I got it by upgrading the old version and it doesn't request me to buy the licence once again. Parallel 3.0 can be downloaded from many mirror sites.

@M@lew: how to upgrade those tools? is that something like Windows drivers need to be installed to get the full functions of Parallel desktop?

Wish you guys a nice day!

^ I have parallels. The only version you can download at the moment is 2.5 (build number 3188)

I have also paid for the pre-ordered Parallels 3. However it is simply not available anywhere legitametly at the moment, and parallels have not issued version 3 keys yet.

"Thank you for upgrading to Parallels Desktop for Mac 3.0! Parallels will email you your upgrade key for Parallels Desktop 3.0 as soon as it’s released. To use your 3.0 activation key, you must have already activated Parallels Desktop 2.5. Your 3.0 activation key will not activate 2.5."

So my question is still...... How did you get Parallels 3?,

and are you sure your not confusing 'build number' with version number....

I'm sorry for mixing those definitions, after checking around I found that the one I'm now having is exactly the one with build number 3188. Actually everything is new for me because I've just changed form a PC to Mac and not really got it well going with Mac :( (look to the left to see my newbie title :D)
I'll try finding those upgrading tools stuffs and hope they work.

LOL.. no bother. Easy mistake to make. Were all newbs at somthing - it's nothing to appologise for. :)

Simply click on Actions from the menu and choose install parallels tools. That should re-run the installer and update them for you.
