Mouse gone after returning from sleep

Hello there,

there are times I wake my Mac mini (2014, latest High Sierra) from sleep and the mouse pointer is gone. I have to unplug and replug the USB mouse to see the pointer again.

Anybody else having this issue and/or a solution for it?

I'm looking forward to your answer.
