all of a sudden the center button on my non apple mouse started opening the dashboard instead of opening a new tab in firefox, how can i turn this off. thanks

Have a look in System Preferences, under Keyboard & Mouse, there should be something in there that will fix your problem.

have gander at your user/library/preferences/(program) and simply delete. your mac will rebuild and sometimes(no guarantee will fix it) but it's a start.

nothing under mouse lets me choose what my center button does, and i dont understand what to delete under the preferences. it might have to do with the fact i plugged in a mighty mouse last night. i need my middle click back, im so tired of opening my dashboard every time i click a link on habit
