Is there any way to fix this? Its def my Mac Studio. I've tested this mouse on my M3 MBP and it works fine on there. Would magic Trackpad be any better?

It's weird. Mine does this too. Doesn't matter if it's the MM or the track pad (I use both).

I find restarting the Mac or just force quitting the Bluetooth process fixes mouse lag until it eventually happens again.

This has been a problem since Sonoma for me on my Studio… I’ll notice I can’t target anything, cursor moving with weird inertia and lag, so freaking annoying.

"wireless w USB"

What happens if you use a USB connection (NO "wireless")?

Does the mouse then respond as it should?

You mean wired?? If so, idk. I've only used this USB Mouse. My Mac Studio is within 3 feet from the mouse. I threw the old one out and got a new one, and it has been better but there is still some lag at times unfortunately...

I've been having a very random lag issue with my Mac Studio. A reboot seems to fix it, but when it happens, there's no issues in Activity Monitor. I thought it was maybe bluetooth related, so have turned BT off and left accessories connected (Magic Trackpad; keyboard & Logitech mouse) with cables and/or turned them off to try and find the culprit, but no idea.

Really don't want to flatten the machine and do a fresh install...

Sounds like bluetooth signal interference or reduced signal strength from another bluetooth device nearby, such as non-apple keyboard, headphones or cordless telephone.

I have an M1 Ultra using mainly Magic Mouse. No issues.
You might want to blow out the LED hole. It's the first thing I do when there is lag. Minor dust caught in it on mine tends to cause the issue.

I have M1 Max and connected so much **** to it that sometimes my bluetooth devices go crazy, lag on mouse, headphones goes choppy etc.
When I switch to Apple Mouse from Logitech it works ok.

I found out that my 4x HDD Usb C device that I use for storage interferes with bluetooth. Try disconnecting AND/OR moving away some things away from Studio. It can be your tv, speakers or whatever.

Good luck

I've tried turning off wi-fi and bluetooth and it's still happening intermittently unfortunately. Such a strange thing to be happening and very, very frustrating.

I think it will have to be a complete rebuild at this rate...
