Hey everyone, I just need some help with my iMac. I've only had it for a few months and this problem has surfaced in the last three weeks or so. Whenever waking the iMac from sleep, the mouse has tremendous lag. I can barely make it to system preferences and set tracking to the loosest possible, just to restart the machine. After a reboot it works fine until it goes to sleep again. Whenever I boot the machine to XP on the iMac, I notice that the mouse feels sticky and doesn't move as fast as it should.

*I have tried a few mice, so I think the problem is with the iMac itself. On a few occassions, the right hand speaker stops working as well, in addition to the mouse problem.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I've had the recurring problem happen on my G5 using a Microsoft mouse. Just pull out the mouse USB and plug it back in. Should work like peaches. Sorry, I haven't found a fix for it.
