mouse off screen......

I have an external monitor connected to my MBP. When not using it i just shut of the monitor. However, it still reads it because the mouse still goes off screen until i actually disconnect the vga cord from the MBP. anyway to fix this so i dont have to constantly plug and unplug.

Although I am not completely familiar with this subject, I would look in System Prefs. See if there is a setting you can jiggle.
