Hi,

I'm using a macbook air with M1 chip. Recently I'm experiencing a new occassional behaviour, where the mouse pointer seems to have disappeared off screen. I can't find it. Then it seems to reappear. Please do you have any ideas why this might be happening and or how I recover (sometimes I've been stuck on a screen and I can't click OK or do much to continue. I know cmd tab.) Thanks

I think that's my default behaviour. Is there a special wiggle technique?! Thanks Wojtek

Even Apple thought about that:

Ahh, brilliant, thanks Wojtek. I've printed that out so I'm prepared for next time.

It sometimes happens to me when I cmd+tab away from Firefox. Doing cmd+tab a couple of times brings the pointer back.

I've noticed that in a few apps -- the mouse pointer/cursor will just "disappear".
Moving the mouse brings it back.

You can also go to the "accessibility" pref pane (setting). Then choose "display". There is an option to increase the size of the pointer... much easier to find for my old eyes!

For the life of me I can't remember the keyboard shortcut for repositioning the pointer back to the middle of the screen.
Anyone know that one?

I think BetterTouchTool has a similar functionality, don't know of any native solutions.
