I'm on an M1 Macbook Air and several times a week I find my mouse/pointer icon flickers when being moved. I only use the trackpad, not using any external mouse device. Typically a reboot gets rid of it until it comes back at some point later. Any ideas what this is/cwhat's causing it?

I came in to see if there was a thread on this. For the past few weeks I have noticed this behavior with my M1 Air as well. If you pay attention to scrolling within Safari, you will also notice that the scrolling flickers in the same way as the mouse cursor. When I turn on my laptop lately everything is quite choppy, then it clears up, but may also recur.
In my opinion, it seems to be something that is throttling the processor in some way.
