Mouse Recommendation Please?

I am on an iMac running El Capitan. I have always used the original Magic Mouse. That mouse is now giving me issues. It has become sticky when moving around but not in every program or application, primarily when mousing over or around in the Gmail message portion of the screen, not after opening an email but selecting one. Because of that I pulled out an old Logitech NX80 mouse from an old Dell laptop. That solved the stickiness problem but it lacks sideways movement the Magic Mouse has.

Can anyone recommend an alternative mouse to get? Either bluetooth or one that has a dongle. Maybe bluetooth is part of the issue, I don't know. The old logitech I am now using has a dongle.

Not sure if Corsair make wireless mice, but i do happen to like the M65 I have. yes it looks like a flashy gamer mouse, but it is comfortable, and has adjustable tracking rate via buttons on the mouse so you can alter the cursor speed on the fly as desired.

I have to say, though....

I love Apple computers, the iPhone, and most of the other stuff they make. Especially their trackpads.

But holy hell do their mice absolutely suck. I'd suggest "anything else" if you're looking for an Apple mouse alternative.

Before replacing the mouse, might want to blow some air into/onto the sensor/laser (ie. the top, big hole on the mouse bottom).
I use my MM on a mouse pad, and it does get lint in it, causing the occasional stickiness. A quick blast from the canned air (or dry breath) clears things up.

I have a G502 gaming mouse paired with the Mac Pro and it's a pleasure to use. Very comfortable and responsive.

If you don't mind 2-hand operation, pressing and holding the Shift key while you scroll on your mouse does the trick...

I'm also in the market for a USB mouse that can scroll sideways...

I have a Razer Orochi that I use with my rMBP... works over bluetooth and can be plugged in with a usb cable as well... sensitivity is adjustable on the mouse and there are programmable buttons.. love it... highly recommend

I would recommend the MX master as well. Very comfortable, perfect tracking and highly customizable, including gestures.
