Hi,

Just got a new mouse for my GF and she has a macbook, we connected it and realized that the USB is on the left of the macbook and the mouse wire is too short to go around it to right hand side as she's right handed, anyone had that before? i was very disappointed.

If i take it back will they be able to change it to a long one?

who did you buy it from? they MIGHT, hope you have your reciept.

Yeah i do, from apple. I think its the old mouses that have longer wire, because the one i use has a slightly grey buttons on the side but the one i bought is white ...

hhmm righto then. it cant hurt to take it back to them and see.. just explain your situation, or lie.. which ever one you think will work :p

A bit of a generalisation, especially without trying every one.

I have a wireless Logitech Mouse and its very light and works great with my Macbook.

yes yes i know.. i have tried a few, apple's MM is ok but not very accurate. i have a logitech wireless and its so terrible, not very accurate AT ALL! i much much prefer a corded mouse. if i found a wireless that stood up to my standards then of course i would purchase it.

i love how apple's keboard and mouse cords are like a foot at most. I was floored when I first hooked up my iMac and saw how short the cord is. I did go wireless eventually but still...
