Does anyone know how to move files between desktops?

Few months ago I saw a video but I don't remember how that guy did it. Not sure if he used Mission Control or what.

Could you help me?

Thanks,

Looks like you didn't understand what I asked. I will explain again. On my Mac I have 4 desktops. I use Mission Control to move apps between them. But how can I move files between them?
Few months ago I saw someone who moved files from desktop 1 to a finder open in desktop 3.
I don't remember how he did it.

Hi,

the files on the desktop are visible from ALL your desktops.

If a file in on your desktop 1, it is also on your desktop 3.

Therefore you can drag it from the desktop to the Finder window in desktop 3.
