Move iCloud notes to iPhone

Hello,
as the title says - how can I move my notes from iCloud to local storage? I wanna ask first before I do something as I don't want to accidentally delete them or anything.

Yes, exactly, keep them in the Notes app but stored locally, not on iCloud.

Copy from iCloud to desktop (if you have another device) then copy all to NOTES but be sure to specify 'On My Mac' which is at the bottom of the left hand folders column. Haven't tried it but as I think about it you should just be able to copy all from the iCloud in the manner described above into a folder placed in the 'On My Mac' folder. Then break them out as you want. Test with a test note.

You can do it directly on your phone.
Open note, touch the 3 dots then select Move Note.
