Can you connect an ipod full of tunes and load the library onto a new pc that has a blank itunes library? I've tried the process of consolidating the library on the old pc and switching the iPod to manual update and enable disk use but i always seem to mess up.

Use sentui (Spelling) not sure of web address google is your friend there.
This program is the best i've used it with all 4 Mac's i've had

even if you consolidate the library of the itunes when the ipod is connected, the itunes library will not detect nor recognized the ipod on your system.

legally speaking there is no way for you to migrate your playlist from 1 computer to another using your ipod. but technically speaking it is possible.

all you have to do is connect your ipod on a mac computer. on disk utility format the ipod into a windows format.

now reconnect your ipod to your comp again. it would resync itself to itunes and now you can use this to copy your entire library to from your mac to your ipod then from your ipod to your itunes on windows.

hope this would help you

Sentui versus TouchCopy

I would like to know which program to use to transfer music from my iTouch to my knew Mac. My old computer crashed. I have not been able to find reviews on TouchCopy. Sentui seems to have mixed ratings. What are your thoughts?
