My fiancé just received her new iPhone. How do I move all her photos from her old phone to her new one? I don't want her to lose 1500 pictures/videos.. she'll kill me.

Couldn't I just download them to iPhoto and then put them on the new phone?

Use ICloud Photo Library and they will appear automatically on the new phone.

The pictures actually carry over if you back up your phone and set your new one up from the recent back up. I thought back in the day, pictures didn't carry over but its all good. I must be getting old because I'm forgetting how to do everything. :)

Got ya. I set my new phone up as ,well, a new phone. So iCloud Photo Library did the trick for me.
