Do you want a beta OS on your phone and can you live with possible instabilities? To put it another way, if you need your phone for work, then I'd say no. At this point, as we approach September, why not wait a few more weeks for the released version?

No worries, you can install iOS 10 beta. It's rockstable on my iPhone 6 & iPad Pro 9.7". Plus it has a couple of very nice alterations. Don't forget to backup & archive this backup before updating, then you're on the safe side IF there are any issues.

For the majority of the beta realeses other than the early betas I not once thought I was running beta software. Device aside, maybe having a 6S made it more stable as it is the latest device but a crash here and there wasn't a life changer, I've had iOS 6-8 crash on me on stable releases so.

The latest beta is stable. Plus if you don't like it you can restore back to iOS 9.

For one most of my phone book have iPhone so iMessage was a factor l; mostly iOS seems more user friendly than android. I have docking stations etc too which were gathering dust.
