Downsized from a 8+ to an X yesterday and I should've waited last year and just grabbed X when it came out and ignored the 8+. the size is perfect in my hands and I actually don't find the screen small at all. In fact, I prefer it. Heck, even find the notch on top kinda cool and makes the phone unique compared to the Samsung phones.

Was hoping for the black 64gb X; however, they only have a silver/white one, which I took. After using it for a while, I actually don't mind the silver colour at all. Looks pretty cool.

Face ID is fantastic and blows TouchID out the water in speed (unlock and get to the home screen) as well as convenience. Those saying Touch ID was lagging on the X is crazy because it is very quick for me. Haven't used Apple Pay yet but looking forward to it.

OLED screen looks fantastic and looking forward to watching a movie on the bus on the way to work today. More curious on how movies look w/ the notch. I love how apple used the space on top for signal strength, etc.

Haven't used the camera yet but expecting it to be on par as the 8+ or better.

One warning for those next week, Icloud restore didn't work for me and I had to start from scratch...which is fine. May want to be prepared if you are planning to use iCloud restore next week when you get your new iPhone. There's something about the X that makes it more personal (or more yours) than the 8+ or any other iPhone I had in the past. Could be the size or Face ID, not sure; however, I welcome it.

Love this phone and looking forward to playing around with it even more..especially finding new wallpapers.

Did the price decrease at all?

No. But what I got for the 8+ Covered the cost of the phone when I did type early upgrade. But it is now 200 cheaper on the TELUS website now but the min plan you must be on is 110.00, used to be cheaper. But I went to bestbuy, not the TELUS store. In fact, TELUS store offered less for my 8+.

Ok, glad that you’re enjoying the X.
