i have moved the location of my iphoto library from its default location to a google drive mapped directory...

however now when i click on images to share.. options are greyed out
i can no longer imessage / email etc

any ideas on how to fix this please?

I would move it back. I'm not sure that you can store an iPhoto Library in cloud storage, especially depending on the format it's stored in. And it may have borked permissions and other settings.

Be aware that in the process of moving it there you may have damaged it. You may have to rebuild it; use the option key when starting up iPhoto to get that choice. Might be better to just restore from your backup.

I followed a non line guide that said


The library is still on the Coneuter but that folder is set to sync

I manually tried to check out facetime and I message and they are not working
so it looks like an issue with these
