i know i have already posted this somewhere but i am really stuck. i need some software that will let me compress a FULL LENGTH film to about at the maximum, 50 MB. I have tried copying it with MacTheRipper and then compressing it with handbrake but whenever i select the desired screen size, it always cuts the film down to about 20 seconds when in actual fact it is about 1 and a half hours long. If I am doing something wrong with handbrake please tell me. And if you know any other programs, i would be really happy.

What resolution are you trying to create? Since you mentioned Handbrake, can I assume you want to make an MP4/M4V? Is this intended for an iPod? Any full-length movie compressed to 50MB is not going to be very enjoyable to watch. Audio will need to be reduced to low bitrate (mono would save some MB), video will be very small resolution and heavily artifacted due to the extreme compression required for your space constaints. But Handbrake should be up to the task. What settings are you using?

all i did was go to the bottom of handbrake and click on the bit where you can set the screen size. did that to fit my phone, and then when i compressed the film, it was 20 seconds
