iPod ****movie not copied because it cannot be played on this ipod

Anyone?

I bought three videos (the same show and season) on itunes and went to transfer them to my ipod classic (generation 5, 30GB) and two of the three transfered and the third gave me the above message. ****movie did not get copied because it cannot be played on this ipod.

I thoought all movies that are purchased on itunes would be playable on my ipod.

WHAT GIVES?????

compare the ones that play and the one that doesn't on iTunes, Get Info.

older ipod?

Some of the older ipods can only play certain movie file formats. Is this a factor for your case? You can look up the specs.

If you right click on the movie and look at your list of options, there should be one to convert the video to a playable version. This option might not be there depending on what version iTunes you have. That's the only thing I can think of.
