Movie, TV Shows and Music names greyed out

When I click on Apple TV under Devices in Itunes and go to the folders for Music, Movies or TV Shows, it lists all the shows I've purchased on my Apple TV, but they are all greyed out and I can't click on them, nor do they transfer over to my computer from Itunes. I'm stuck.....Any ideas?

I've relinked my Apple TV and my computer again today and still the same problem.

Are you trying to sync media purchased on your ATV with iTunes? All media on my ATV is gray but I buy all media with iTunes and then sync up to ATV. Given how I have my sync settings set it makes sense that I cannot affect each item.

I've recently started doing what you suggest, i.e. buying everything on Itunes and letting it sync to the AppleTV, which it does okay. However, I still have alot of content from before that I bought on the AppleTV and want to get over to the computer for backup (and because my ATV is filling up easily because of too much ATV purchased content).

For example, I bought the Underworld movies on AppleTV but they remain greyed out under Devices/AppleTV/Movies and won't copy over to my computer.
