Movies by Flixter

Does anyone use this app?

Will it connect to facebook for you?

Always crashes when I try. Just curious if it is my account or what.

The last update greatly improved as it used to be a crash fest but I still prefer Fandango.

I use Now Playing. Fandango is good but I like the Netflix and preview connectivity...

Sure, it works well. I still prefer Now Playing as a pure current movie finding app, but if I want to review one I just saw on my Movies FB app, Movies integrates just fine.

I didnt realize I had to go to Flixter first on the "real" Facebook (Web Browser) to get the app on the phone to work.

LOL...

Now, I just have to decide between Now Playing and Movies. I like the Net Flix integration AND the Facebook Integration.

Why can't someone make one that does both?

I agree. I went with Now Playing because I thought it had a better interface and because I thought the Netflix connectivity was more useful than facebook. Of course YMMV...

Well, I am back to now playing.

It is so frustrating because while you can connect Netflix to Facebook, if you use Now Playing to rate a movie in Netflix, it is not sent to Facebook.

If that would work, I would never tried Flixster OR posted this thread to begin with.

Hi, is it possible for somone to send mi this app?
It's not in the Mexican store and Flixster/iTunes won't listen to me.

I don't think there's a reason behind it.
Or, is there another GOOD app like this?

Confused

I am not understanding what the confusion is here

I have used Flixster(Movies)ever since the downfall of NowPlaying and it is working perfectly.

Flixster tracks my Netflix account and allows me to rate my movies that then displays my review and rating on Facebook. So I am obviously not understanding this post.

I also like how Flixster has my local theaters, and provides an active list of recently released DVD's and those that will be coming soon.

Flixster DOES do everything that is discussed here so am still confused to the "why" of this post
