iPad Pro Movies freezing on ipad pro 13 inch

Just received my ipad pro 13 inch and have finished setting it up. Has anyone else found that when playing movies, they freeze up every couple of seconds. This is happening on all movies. FB videos etc run just fine So this is occurring just with my videos on apple tv app. Have the new ipad pro 11 and the same movies run just fine on it. Is there a fix for this issue on the 13? Or should I just return it as defective? Thanks for any input

Are they downloaded or streamed? I haven't run into this with my 13" Pro.

Not enough info in these reports. Are they downloaded or streamed? What apps are involved? If downloaded, are they from an on-line source or other? If other, what format?

I am also facing constant freezing issues. I’m seem to only happen on safari for me
 
My IPP M4 1TB freezes when I'm trying to edit a HEVC HDR video with the standard photo app. I have to lock the screen (takes a few seconds for it to get this done), unlock it and then it works fine again. I can edit the same video on my iPhone 14 without any problems.
