I have several hundred movies in itunes that I used Handbrake to copy over, however I am unable to transfer any of these movies to my iPod. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Which preset did you use to create the files in handbrake?

If you're trying to put them on a Touch there's a workaround, regular iPod I think you're screwed.

Apple broke that a few versions of iTunes ago. Sucks because I had a bunch that played fine and then after an upgrade - poof. Won't play, transfer or show up on the iPod.

As cinematographer wrote, Handbrake, iPod preset.

I have been using the following presets:

iPod Legacy

Format: MP4 file
Large file size= checked
iPod 5G support= checked

Video Codec: H.264 (x264)
Average bitrate (kbps): 950

2-pass encoding= checked

Movies play great on my Apple Tv with these settings, however I can't transfer them to my new iPod classic.

Any suggestions would be helpful
