Moving 20,000 emails from Mac to iCloud?

Hi, I am trying to move all of my emails from my Mac onto my 2TB iCloud.

There are approximately 20,000 emails and moving them from my Mac to iCloud in one go does not seem to work, so I have been uploading (moving) them about 100 emails at a time. While that works it is taking an absolute age to complete even though my internet upload speed is around 35mbps.

Does anyone know of a way to speed up the situation?

Migrated my account from Gmail to iCloud, went in steps of 1000, took ages as well. Are you moving a lot of attachments?

I used this tool to sync my email between two providers and it worked flawless.
