Moving a mirror RAID set??

i am using a 3 GHz Dual Core + 4 GB RAM Mac pro

right now i have 2 x 500GB hard drives in my Mac Pro
they are stored in bay 2 and 3

these hard drives have been used as a mirror RAID set since i started using my computer
this RAID set was set up using the DIsk Utility
... i want to keep it a mirror RAID set ...

now I want to add 2 x 750GB hard drives to the Mac Pro
i'd prefer that these new hard drives are placed in bay 1 and 2
by moving the 500GB pair from bay 2 & 3 to bay 3 & 4


will the computer maintain the 500GB pair as a mirror RAID set after moving?

i will back up and proceed with caution but i do not expect a problem as you've just said.

It's always good to back things up, but seriously, it's not going to change/screw anything up. I have changed my drive positions a few times.
