I have my contacts synced with outlook right now. Id prefer to use iCloud since after I graduate from my school, I have only 1 year of outlook access after that. iCloud gives me an indefinite amount of time, hence, easier to work with in the long run.

How do I sync my contacts that are already in my address book to iCloud?

Shut off contacts and re-enable. I also unsync'd them in iTunes so everything is iCloud now. I only have one contact list now it's much easier this way.
