Upgraded to macOS Catalina last weekend which went smooth except for Apple Mail. Whenever I move message to another the text and embedded graphics are removed! Also, whenever I deleted and undelete a message the text and embedded graphics removed. In both cases the message is completely blank.

Any feedback would be appropriate.

TIA

hi
thanks for your post.

the kinds of problems you have been experiencing sound very similar to problems that others (including myself) also have experienced since upgrading to Catalina:
messages that are downloaded (apparently safely and readable) but then subsequently are moved to different folder frequently appear blank (just headers but apparently no content).

there is no fix that i have read about, but i use a way to ensure my most critical messages are not lost:
i simply am dragging out of the mail message header box onto the desktop these critical messages. this doesn't delete them from within mail, just makes a copy of it on the desktop that when double clicked will open the message in its own separate window. obviously i only do this for work related critical messages that i cant afford to lose.

this problem i have not experienced since updating to 10.15.2 just two days ago, but i can not say that the problem is fixed even with this newest update.
i can say that 10.15 and 10.15.1 both had this problem.

if you are already on 10.15.2 then this would be confirmation (for me at least) that apple has not solved these problems yet.
