Moving Apps from MBP to new iMac?

Hello MacRumors,

I've been using my MBP as the command center for my iPhone and now want to migrate over to my iMac. I've already moved my music and other media, not the apps though.

Do I just copy the 'mobile applications' folder from my MBP to my iMac?

*The 107 apps I've downloaded so far have all been free if that matters. Would it make a difference if they were paid apps though?

You can just copy the apps over. Once your on your iMac, select all the apps and drag them onto iTunes on the dock. If you have already logged in to the iTunes store with your account, then they will import and you'll be ready to sync your iPhone. If you haven't logged in yet, a window will pop up asking for your username and password. Enter it, and the apps will start importing.

No, it wouldn't matter if the apps were paid.
