Our small, family / family business is all Macs and an iPad, but the cellphones are all Android OS.

Over the years, we built up substantial contact information for people and businesses and agencies in our Apple Address Book / Contacts. But with our Android phones, we need access to that information when we are away from the computers. Is there a way we can batch export our Contacts database to Google Contacts?

Is there another, better way? (NOTE: it is unlikely we will be switching all our cells to iPhones in the foreseeable future.)

Is there no option to Export from iCloud Address Book, then import into Google Contacts?
Failing that, if you have Outlook (the Microsoft client app), and use Contacts there, export that to a .csv file, then import that into Google Contacts...

As per above, can export the contacts from Contacts and import via Google's web interface. Don't recall where that is on the Google page (have not done in a while), but worked well. Highlight your All Contacts or All iCloud group. Then File > Export > vCard.

And since sounds like using Gmail, can turn on Contact syncing on the Mac side to the Google account. Not at the Mac right now, but recall an option to add an account in Contacts. Or easier. Go to Internet Accounts and turn on Contacts for the Google account(s).

Some additional info:

All the Apple Address Book / Contacts entires on our family's machines are on the computer only, not iCloud. We never got into using iCloud.
