iCloud Moving family members over to another iCloud apple one account

I currently have two family members as part of my Apple One Family account but are moving over to a brand new iCloud account with a new Apple One family account.

Can I simply remove them from the current account and add them to the new one without them loosing any data or having any issues along the way?

Answering my own question: I removed them from my family account and added them to the new one without any issues.
