Hiya,

I've got some large video files (around 30GB each) on my Mac that I need to move to a PC. I've investigated a couple of options, and as the computers are not on the same network / in the same building, an external drive seems like the right way to go.

I can't format the external hard drive using FAT32 as that won't let me copy any files larger than 4GB on to it.

Am I right in thinking (and apologies if this is a really stupid question!) that if I copy the files from my Mac to my VMWare Fusion Windows machine, then transfer the files to the Windows formatted hard drive from there, that they'll work fine on another PC?

Just wanted to check before I went ahead and purchased Macdrive - would save me a couple of pounds!

Thanks!

Brilliant! Thanks very much for getting back to me, I hadn't heard of that, and it will avoid the whole having to go through VMWare Fusion.

Appreciate the help!
