I was told by a Genius at Apple the other day, that if i drag and drop folders from my Yahoo account (set up through Mail on my MacBook Pro) to my iCloud mail account, that they would transfer. I have tried this multiple times and it doesn't work. The folder moves but none of the contents.
Does anyone know a way to do this? I want to get rid of my yahoo account without having to forward each email to my iCloud account.
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.
Joe

That worked. I was trying to move the whole folder. Individual messages worked. Thanks.

How exactly are you dragging/dropping? I have my Yahoo mail open, all email messages within a folder checked, but I cannot drag them outside of the browser window into the Icloud mail folder of another browser window. I have tried with both Mozilla and Microsoft Edge,

The account should be setup on your Mac Mail app, where you can drag the messages from the Yahoo account to other ones.
