Moving from PC to Mac - Need Help

Ok, so thanks to the advice I received here... I found a good deal on an old Mac Mini. It's got Snow Leopard, but I figure that I'll go ahead and up it to Lion to make sure it's iCloud compatible when that happens.

Now, I'm trying to figure out how to set it up. I have a Drobo FS that I use as the storage location for my iTunes library through a mapped drive. I need to move that to my Mac somehow. Anyone got a good step-by-step on that?

I've found a couple of articles, but where Windows uses drive letters, Macs don't, to the best of my knowledge, so I'm a little stumped on how the transfer will work.

Its going to be tricky because both OS's use a different file format. Macs will read NTFS, but will not write to them. Windows will not even see Mac OS Journaled.

What you will essentially want to do is move your stuff off of your drobo, reformat it to Mac OS, and move it back on. If this isn't an option for you you could use a program like Paragon NTFS that lets you read and write to NTFS drives. I think its only like $20 or $30.

By "macos journaled" do you mean hfs+ journaled ?

Unless the drive is formatted as Fat32, which is readable by both.
